Who is behind Meditation Mastery?
I'm Dr. Alex Stillwater, a former neuroscientist and the founder of Meditation Mastery. I built this app to help people discover profound mindfulness in just minutes a day, using science-backed habit principles.
My work is based on:
- my own meditation practice;
- years of building and iterating on a meditation habit system;
- real usage patterns from anonymized session data in Meditation Mastery;
- continuous research into habit formation and mindfulness.
My role is to translate evidence and experience into something you can use, in an app that doesn’t waste your time.
Why there’s no big team or influencer brand
Meditation Mastery is intentionally independent. There is no big marketing team, no ad network, and no “influencer brand” behind it.
